Flash 9 and Java 1.6 plugins for Mozilla/Firefox under Ubuntu:

you better use the Flash and JRE packages present in this repo, instead of 
the Ubntu Gutsy debs (its OK if you prefer the flashplugin-nonfree deb 
coming with Feisty; but do use the JRE provided here ANYWAY since it works 
much better with many game-sites):
- just put jre*bin into /usr/local/bin,
  make it executable, then run it;
  finally, make symlinks from /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so
  to /usr/local/bin/jre*/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
  (replace "mozilla" in this example by "firefox" or "mozilla-firefox" 
  and repeat this operation if required).
  Your Java Runtime Environment plugin is now installed!
- install now the Flash plugin:
  - by using the flashplugin-nonfree deb (cf. synaptic)
  - by copying the flashplayer.xpt + libflashplayer.so files provided with
    the present Flash 9 tarball to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
    (or ......./firefox/plugins/ or ......./mozilla-firefox/plugins/)
  Your Flash plugin is now installed!
